TEMPLATE for Knitted Square

Using Size 10 knitting needles, cast on 30 stitches of bulky weight yarn or 2 strands of worsted weight or sport yarn. (You can use any size needles or yarn as long as the completed square is at least the size of this template. Using smaller needles, cast on more stitches; larger needles—less stitches.)

Knit approximately 30 to 40 rows in order to obtain the desired size; this depends on the stitch, and your gauge as a knitter. Bind off, weaving any yarn “tails” into your square’s edge.

You can also crochet the square if you are not a knitter.
