Administrative Experience in Education
1994-1996
NORTH LAKE COLLEGE, Irving, Texas,A comprehensive community college
within the Dallas Community College District of
Community Colleges with an enrollment of approximately 7,000 full-time
students and serving the high-technology areas of Irving and Las Colinas.
Dean
of Continuing Education, Careers and Contract Training, Duties included
the following:
Planned, organized and supervised all activities and staff (13
full-time and 80 part-time Employees) in the Division.
Planned, developed, implemented and administered Division Budget, a
profit-center generating more than $3 Million.
Business and industry liaison for the college.
Designed, developed and implemented new programs and curricula, i.e.,
Six Hats Creative Thinking Training; Professional Development Skills
Training. Recruited, supervised and evaluated performance of faculty in
Continuing Education, English as a Second Language (ESL), Program Directors,
Account Executives for Contract Training, Counselors for Career Training and
Trainers for Business and Industry.
Grant Development and Writing, i.e., Found/wrote and awarded the
Options Grant from the MacArthur Foundation to develop/implement a Speakers
Bureau on International Safety Issues.

associate’s degrees leading to employment for its 4,000 full-time
students.

college located in Northeast Michigan with an enrollment of approximately
2,200 full-time students.

1998–Present , Weberwoods Communications, Founder and President, Alpena, Michigan.A Northern Michigan based consulting organization focused on providing global grant writing services; communication, management and marketing seminars and presentations to business, industry, and not-for-profit and governmental organizations.

largest manufacturer of concrete manufacturing products operating in 120
countries around the world and employing over 1,000 globally. Planned,
developed and established Besser Global Consulting Limited as one of the
Besser Family of Companies serving the Global Concrete Industry.
1994-1996. The Executive Committee, Chair/Facilitator, Milwaukee,Wisconsin. TEC is an international organization of several thousand Corporate Executive Officers who meet in their respective regions on a regular basis to further their learning and leadership abilities.

Michigan. Northern Michigan based real estate business focused on
residential and vacation properties.
1987- 1996, Besser Company, International Marketing Consultant, Alpena, Michigan.World’s largest manufacturer of concrete masonry equipment. Liaison for Besser with Alpena Community College and International Customers. Fund Development. Developed Besser Marketing Information Center. Designed and executed Besser customer relation’s survey. Involved in designing business plans for overseas markets. Assisted in developing global marketing and sales plans.
